Owner Ray Gregoire brings over 40 years of hunting experience to his full-time taxidermy work and emphasizes understanding what hunters want from their trophies.

He focuses on quality craftsmanship, natural-looking mounts, and attention to detail while staying fully state and federally licensed.

Afterlife Taxidermy publishes a detailed price list covering mammals, birds, fish, antler and European mounts, novelty items, rugs, and tanning, such as $675 for a whitetail or mule deer shoulder mount and $18 per inch for a fish wall mount.

Typical turnaround on a whitetail deer mount is about four to five months, and the studio states it works to return all mounts in a timely, reasonable timeframe.

The shop also offers rugs, tanning, custom habitat bases, European skull cleaning and dipping, novelty items like deer foot lamps and other pieces, and finished mounts for sale.
