Award Winning Lane's Taxidermy publishes a detailed price list, with game heads typically starting around $950, birds around $450, lifesize mammals and rugs priced by species or length, fish work charged per inch with a stated minimum, and a 50% deposit required on all work.

The studio does not list exact turnaround times but notes they take a limited amount of work each year so every trophy receives the time and attention needed, and they stress getting your animal or fish to the shop or into a freezer as soon as possible to protect quality.
