Cody's Taxidermy

Cody's Taxidermy works on birds, fish, small and big game, and game heads, and does not accept dogs or cats.

You can choose from game head and shoulder-style mounts, bird mounts, and related work such as rugs and repairs.

Mack Cody has over 42 years of taxidermy experience, starting at age 11 and eventually opening his own studio after working for a local taxidermist.

He emphasizes lifelike detail and enjoys the challenge of rare and difficult animals, aiming for a natural, realistic look rather than a “stuffed” appearance.

The studio requires a nonrefundable deposit before work begins, collects the remaining balance at completion, applies late fees and storage charges on overdue pickups, and encourages you to contact them directly for specific pricing.

Average completion time is about 12 months, though actual turnaround can be shorter or longer depending on workload.

In addition to mounts, Cody's Taxidermy offers rug work and repair services, and supports several conservation and wildlife organizations.
