Creekside Taxidermy

Creekside Taxidermy works on big game, small game, birds, fish (skin mounts and reproductions), and other wildlife, including both North American species and select exotics.

Available mount styles include shoulder, lifesize and half-lifesize, European and antler mounts, bird and fish displays on driftwood, rugs, custom habitats, restoration work, and unique Mini Mount replicas.

Cole trained at the Western Pennsylvania School of Taxidermy after high school, is an active member of the Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association, and has several years of hands-on experience turning a high school hobby into a full-time business.

The studio emphasizes detail-oriented, realistic work and treats every mount as a personal project, stating that if it is not perfect, it is not done.

Creekside Taxidermy publishes a detailed 2025–2026 price list, with clear examples for shoulder mounts, lifesize work, birds, fish, rugs, and European skull services, and notes that prices may change with materials and that extras like habitat, upgrades, and restoration are billed separately.

European skull turnaround ranges from under a month for Basic Clean Only to variable, no-ETA timelines for fully degreased “Works” packages, while custom apparel is typically finished in under two weeks and overall mount times depend on workload and season.
