Panther Creek Taxidermy

Panther Creek Taxidermy primarily works on big game, small game mammals, and birds, and does not accept fish, reptiles, or pets.

You can choose from shoulder mounts, European mounts, and bird mounts with custom habitat presentations.

Amanda began learning taxidermy in 2009 at Kindred Spirits School of Taxidermy, completing formal courses over two years in tanning, game heads, mammals, birds, and fish.

She has continued to refine her craft through conventions, competitions, seminars, and workshops, and is an active member of both the Illinois Taxidermists Association and the National Taxidermists Association.

Example prices include $850 for a deer shoulder mount, $200 for a deer European mount, $25 for a European mount plaque, and $900 for an antelope shoulder mount, with all other pricing available by phone and extra charges for pedestals and customizations.

Current turnaround on most work is approximately 12 months, and the studio may refuse work based on current workload or specimen condition.

Habitat customization options include driftwood, rock bases, pedestals, and other habitat elements, with standard driftwood or rock for standing birds and wall hangers for flying birds.
