Ritual Taxidermy

Ritual Taxidermy works on big game, small game, and birds, with services that include shoulder mounts, full-body mounts for select species, European mounts, and in-house tanning.

You can choose from traditional shoulder mounts, full-body turkey mounts, European skull mounts, and turkey fan and beard displays, often paired with custom wood plaques and habitat-style bases.

Owner Jeff Burnett opened the studio in 2022 after formal training at Lone Leaf Custom Taxidermy School and years as a lifelong outdoorsman, and he continues to pursue education focused on turkey, whitetail, and small mammals.

He emphasizes wildlife artistry, anatomical accuracy, and fine detail, using in-house tanning, high-end components, and custom woodworking to create realistic, personalized mounts.

Ritual Taxidermy does not publish a fixed price list and asks you to contact the studio for quotes, noting that replacement hides and custom plaques or display details can affect final cost.

Taxidermy projects take several months and require weeks of drying and adjustment, but in-house tanning helps reduce turnaround times compared with outsourcing, with timing influenced by seasonal workload.
